summer days of fun

Last weekend, Hallie, Jarod, Irene & I decided to take a day drip to Poulsbo and Port Orchard just to get out of Seattle and hang out by the lake. Irene secretly wanted to go to Poulsbo to go look at the RV's but the rest of us put the kibosh on that idea and instead we ate breakfast and then headed out to Wildcat lake in Bremerton to catch some rays. But before we left Poulsbo I snapped some pics of one of Irene's fondest treats-donuts and cookies. There was this adorable little bakery that had big ol' gingerbread donuts and these cute cookies with sad faces. The cookies had sad faces because we were all too full from breakfast to fit the cookies and gingerbread donuts into our bellies. So we left for Wildcat lake.

Whe we arrived at Wildcat lake Irene and I blew up our inflatable kayaks and paddled around in the water for a bit while Hallie tanned. Later there were kayak races and bit of frisbee throwing. See we were trying to work up our appetites in order to indulge in really, the main reason why we went to Bremerton in the first place, KING WOK'S BUFFET!! ALL YOU CAN EAT CRAB LEGS!!!! Jarod and I ate the shit out of some crab legs. All I had were crab legs and egg drop soup. Even though the have toooonnnnnssss of other good food, including sushi.

So we ate some awesome buffet, hung out and watched the Olympics at a bar, went to this strange pet store where I took pics of some weird fish, and then headed back on the ferry. All of the pictures from the trip are below.
